Juventus
Yıldız's contract with Bayern Munich expired in July 2022 and the club confirmed that it would not be able to re-sign Yıldız. Kenan Yıldız left Bayern Munich and moved to Juventus. The Italian club announced in 2022 that a contract was signed with the 17-year-old player until 2025. Barcelona and Juventus competed to transfer Yıldız after he became a free agent. On 12 July, Juventus confirmed the signing of Yıldız. In September, he was listed among the 60 best actors born in 2005 by the British newspaper The Guardian.
After playing in the U-19s, Yıldız was called up to Juventus Next Gen, Juventus' reserve team, on 16 December for the Virtus Verona match to be played the next day. In this match, he was substituted by coach Massimo Brambilla in the 61st minute and made his professional debut, and the team lost 3-0.
Yıldız made his first Serie A match for Juventus as a substitute in the second half in the 3-0 away win against Udinese on 20 August 2023. Ten days later he extended his contract with the club until 2027. He made his debut for the Juventus A team on 23 December 2023 and scored the opening goal in the 2-1 win against Frosinone. This goal made him the club's youngest foreign goalscorer in Serie A, at the age of 18 years and 233 days.
On 17 September 2024, he scored the opening goal in a UEFA Champions League home match against PSV Eindhoven with a curling shot into the net; it was the first goal scored in the group stage of the tournament, making him the youngest Juventus player to score in a Champions League match, surpassing club legend Alessandro Del Piero.
National team career
Kenan Yıldız was born in Germany to a Turkish father and a German mother. He wore the jerseys of the Türkiye U17 team and the Türkiye U21 national team. Kenan Yıldız made his debut in Türkiye U21 on September 27, 2022, playing 28 minutes against Georgia U21.
In October 2023, he was called up to the Türkiye national team for two UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Croatia and Latvia. On October 12, Kenan Yıldız made his first international appearance as a substitute in the 86th minute in a 1-0 win over Croatia. He made his debut for Turkey on 18 November and scored his first international goal in a 3-2 win over Germany in Berlin.
