Several My Chemical Romance (MCR) fans posted about being frustrated because of long queues on ticketing platforms, including Ticketmasteron Friday. While some said that the website had ‘glitches’, others complained about ‘thousands’ being ahead of them (in the queue). Are you facing the same issue? Here’s what you can do:
Try Different Platforms: Look for tickets on resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, or Vivid Seats. These platforms often have tickets even after primary sales are sold out. However, some of them are not as reliable as others.
Check Presale Opportunities: Keep an eye on presale codes from Live Nation or fan clubs, which can offer earlier access to tickets
Opt for VIP Packages: Big MCR fan? Sometimes VIP packages remain available when general tickets sell out. Check Ticketmaster’s VIP options for availability.
Monitor Social Media and Forums: Fans often share tips, resell tickets, or discuss availability updates in real time.
Attend at a Nearby Venue: If your preferred location is sold out, consider nearby cities on the tour. MCR frequently adds new dates to accommodate demand.
Act During Off-Peak Hours: Websites may perform better when traffic is low, so revisit during odd hours.
Social Media Users Post About ‘Long Queues’ On Ticketmaster:
Posting about their issue on X, platformf formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “was in the process of getting MCR tickets when Ticketmaster froze on the checkout screen three times and then kicked me back to the queue but this time with 30k people ahead of me.”
“Buying these MCR tickets has been such an annoying experience. Waited in line in the queue forever, finally got in and selected seats, then I went to go back to the seat selection map to change seats and it kicked me out. So now I’m in the queue of 17k people again ???? Lovely,” another one added.
