Cat's Eyes on TF1: Does Élodie Fontan (Prudence) wear a wig? – News Series on TV

For the needs of Cat's Eyes, Élodie Fontan, the interpreter of the formidable Prudence, swapped her long curly hair for a peroxide blonde bob. Is the actress wearing a wig?

Since its launch on November 11, Cat's Eyes has captivated viewers, and Prudence, the formidable hitwoman played by Élodie Fontan, is not for nothing.

With her intractable and crazy character, her daring and eccentric looks, her guns, and especially her peroxide blonde bob, Prudence imposes her style and leaves no one indifferent. On screen, Élodie Fontan appears transformed, to the point of sometimes being almost unrecognizable in this totally offbeat role.

But is this hair transformation real? Did the actress sacrifice her long curly hair to slip into Prudence's skin, or is she wearing a wig?

Does Élodie Fontan wear a wig?

Élodie Fontan does indeed wear a wig in the series. And she's not the only one!

Indeed, the character of Prudence sports several hairstyles and hair colors throughout the episodes to mask her identity during her missions while reflecting her unpredictable character and her taste for provocation as highlighted by our colleagues at Leisure .

If Prudence's looks and hair styles evolve throughout the season, it's no coincidence. This decision is in fact the result of a desire by Michel Catz, the screenwriter, and Alexandre Laurent, the director, who wanted “have fun with the character of Prudence“.

We invented lots of things as we went along. The inspirations are multiple. I see a bit of Snatch, Kill Bill, Atomic Blonde with the aim of always making people smile. There are times when she has fun, others when she goes completely crazy. She can be super nice, then freak out. We knew where we wanted to go“, they explained to our microphone last September.

In any case, this is a character we won't soon forget!

Catch Cat's Eyes every Monday evening from 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
