The boss of the Iliad group, notably owner of the operator Free, took the word of an Internet user on X who arranged to meet him in Marseille for a one-on-one confrontation.

The entrepreneur posted a simple “I'm waiting for you”, accompanied by a selfie posted in front of the famous Lidl store in question with a menacing look.
A touch of humor echoed everywhere on X, since in less than two hours, Xaviel Niel's response received more than two million impressions on Elon Musk's social network.

The entrepreneur didn't stop there, since he then posted a video in front of the business, in which he drives the point home. “I'm there, I'm waiting for you! Where are you, come on! Do you want to meet in the parking lot? Come on, let's go to the parking lot,” he says to the camera.
“AIDJAIDJAKF NO SORRY I WAS LUGGLING”, responded shortly after and visibly surprised, the Internet user who proposed the confrontation to Xavier Niel.
The supermarket brand then made its little comment, shortly after 5 p.m., saying ironically: “We must come and collect the gentleman who has been tweeting since this morning in front of the store on rue Sainte in Marseille, please”.
A sequence which does not fail to make most of the comments smile, despite certain posts with a more acidic tone, mentioning the recent cyberattack on the Free database, during which the personal information of nearly 19 million customers was leaked .
The data in question contains in particular the surnames, first names, email and postal addresses, date of birth of customers, as well as their IBAN. Doubt still remains over the sale of this data to third parties, as it was once offered for auction on the dark web. The hacker who announced that he was putting the personal data up for sale assured at the end of October that he had sold it.
