Rwanda 0-1 Libya


The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2025 AFCON after Libya shocked Rwanda in Kigali.

Following Rwanda’s 1-0 loss to Libya in the other group match in Kigali, the squad coached by Austin Eguavoen qualified for the AFCON.

Substitute Fahd Saad Mohamed scored the game-winning goal in the 84th minute at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

Even if Rwanda defeats the Super Eagles on Monday in Uyo, they will not finish higher than the three-time African champions because of their shocking home setback, which puts them at five points from five games.


The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2025 AFCON after Libya shocked Rwanda in Kigali.

However, with tonight’s match against Nigeria still to come, Rwanda is still putting a lot of pressure on second-place Benin, who also have six points.

With four points, Libya is still at the bottom of the standings and will play their final Group D match against Benin on Monday.
