Léa Salamé triumphs over France Inter: Laurent Ruquier makes a major emergency update

Léa Salamé celebrated good news on November 14, 2024, for her and her Inter teams. On the radio, she just learned that she was number 1.

Indeed, she posted a photo with Nicolas Demorand, Sonia Devilliers, and Matthieu Noël. She, who started the morning show 10 years ago, declared that they were followed by more than 5 million listeners. Léa Salamé thanked her fans. She also told them: “between you and us it’s love phew!“. And added: “together we shatter all audience records”.

Laurent Ruquier reframes it

Furthermore, Léa Salamé also concluded that France Inter was the “first radio station in France” with its 7,196,000 listeners. And it is probably this little clarification there, at the very end, which made Laurent Ruquier wince.

His former boss who became a former colleague on France 2, therefore set the record straight, immediately, on X. Hugo Manos' companion wanted to make a “a little reminder of the audience figures”.

He clarified: “Despite much stronger competition than previous seasons (well done to my colleagues from Europe 1 and France Inter), “Les Grosses Têtes” on RTL remains the leader on all radio stations between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m..

And to add that his program in particular carried out “at least 4 times more audience than Europe 1 and 30% more than France Inter”.

After their divorce, in 2022, and the end of the show “We are live“, Léa Salamé had taken over the Saturday evening time slot on France 2. She has hosted there since “What a time!”solo, with Christophe Dechavanne as permanent guest.

Hostility between him and Léa Salamé?

In September 2023, she explained to Puremédias regarding her relationship with Laurent Ruquier: “We got along really well. We were never friends but we had real respect“.

And to specify: “We have a history together: I was his columnist, then I was his co-presenter. He wasn't happy, he left, I'm not going to go over the episode but I wish him the best“.

For his part, Laurent Ruquier assured Télé Star in 2022: “To be angry, we would already have to have relationships. We were never friends”.

And to finally concede, in October 2023, when he received it on BFMTV: “I'm delighted to see her again, it's the scoop of the evening, the reunion. Léa Salamé, welcome. And thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, for agreeing to come and talk to us this evening about Jean-Pierre Elkabbach.”.
