Equatorial Guinea – Algeria: The notes of the greens

On a very dry pitch, the Algerians seemed to endure the match, especially in the first period. Petkovic's usually successful second half was not much more convincing.

> See: Equatorial Guinea 0-0 Algeria

Alexis Oukidja (6,5): It started with loss of balls, approximate clearances and in the end he got away with a reflex save just before half-time and a clearance with his foot outside his area on an opposing counterattack

Aïssa Mandi (5): Not much to say, Mandi did Mandi without being particularly endangered by the opponent.

Mohamed Amine Tougaï (4): It's not great serenity, clearances in touch while his teammate, balls to the opponent…

Bensebaïni frames (5): Rather clean but nothing more, he comes out at half-time replaced by
Mohamed Amine Madani (4), who will be distinguished by two dangerous tackles and a yellow card.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (4): The left side of Wolves always leaves a strange impression, it is difficult to understand his contribution to the team's play, even when he enters the axis to help with creation.

Ramiz Zerrouki (6): Undoubtedly the best field player, interesting crosses which allowed to create a little movement, some well-felt high interventions but also loss of balls in front of the defense.

Adem Zorgane (3): He once again missed out, he was unable to impact the game against very well grouped opponents. Very little in sight, often late.
Ahmed Kendouci who entered his place in the 70th was immediately sharper, with a one-touch game.

Said Benrahma (4,5): He played on the left wing, while often playing in the center, he too was rarely seen at his ease, yet he was often called upon.
Amine Gouiri who replaced him in the 76th brought a little more.

Mohamed Amoura (5,5): Aligned at the forefront, he tried to play a little in deviations, in passing at the feet but above all he received very little supply. Replaced by
Amin Chiakha in the 89th, he didn't have time to show himself.

Riyad Mahrez (4,5): We saw him running at the start of the match, then very quickly he tried to influence the retention of the ball. Apart from the set pieces, nothing special. He came out frustrated in the 70th, replaced by a Yassine Benzia more in leg but who couldn't make the difference.
