With four Grammystwo Oscars for Best Original Score, three Golden Globes, and a Brit Award, Hans Zimmer is one of the most influential contemporary composers, and his soundtracks are among the most beloved in the history of cinema. Unforgettable is the release of the cult film Rain Man, which definitively established him worldwide: “When I created the music for Rain Man,” declared the Maestro, “I kept thinking not to try to overshadow the characters, not to put myself in the foreground. And so, Raymond, the main character, doesn’t really understand where he is. He sees the world differently from us… Why not create ‘world music’ for a world that exists only in his head?”

After the success of Rain Man, which brought Hans Zimmer his first Oscar nomination, all the top Hollywood directors lined up to work with him. His music impressed Disney so much that they commissioned him to score the animated film “The Lion King”: the theme music for the animated film earned the composer three of the most prestigious awards, Oscar, Golden Globe, and Grammy. Over the years, Zimmer has continued to be awarded for his works, truly becoming number one in Hollywood, so much so that an Oscar ceremony is rare without a nomination for him. Even in 2022, he won with the film “Dune”.

The combination of his compositions and the sonic elegance of the Kiev Symphony Orchestra Lords of the Sound gives life to “The Music of Hans Zimmer”a truly unique show, enriched by the presence of a rock band, an amazing visual production, powerful vocal parts from soloists and choristers, which infuses unstoppable energy leaving the audience breathless.
