In Love at First Sight at the Christmas Market, a Grey's Anatomy star finds true love in one of the most beautiful cities in France. We explain everything to you!
Christmas films are finally back to the delight of fans of the genre! On TF1, two fictions are offered every afternoon. Something to brighten up our autumn days.
A Christmas TV movie filmed in France
And the least we can say is that one of them risks bringing back memories to those who love Normandy since Love at First Sight at the Christmas Market was filmed in Rouen. Broadcast today at 2:20 p.m., it's a sweet French scent that will reign on our small screens.
Thus, all exteriors are natural settings. It's impossible not to recognize the typically Norman charm of the streets of the small village featured in the TV film. Better yet, you might also recognize one of the stars of Grey's Anatomy, Jaicy Elliot, who is the heroine of this romantic comedy.
Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars) is the star of Love at First Sight at the Christmas Market
Next to him is Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars) who plays his soul mate. The actor also co-wrote the TV film with his wife. The producer of this film made in Hallmark recently spoke on the subject during an interview with AlloCiné:
“Brant is a fabulous writer and actor. During the pre-production phases, when it was necessary to make changes to the script in order to adapt to the demands of production, filming locations and the channel, we worked with him as screenwriter”, explique Jeffery Beach.
“However, when filming started, he became an actor again. It was a very interesting dynamic.” Needless to say, the person who played Noel (we couldn't have invented him) in Freeform's flagship series was very involved.
Filming took place during the summer of 2023, which forced the team to completely transform the streets of Rouen. As for the interior scenes, they were filmed in a studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. So don't miss Love at first sight at the Christmas market starting this afternoon on TF1.
