Tele-Leisure : How do you explain that you tripped?
Isabelle : It was the very last show of the session, so there was a lot of fatigue and I was no longer there at all. I had also been sick for several days. I slept half sitting up, half lying down because of a bad cold so I wasn't well rested, despite the remedies of my daughter who is a naturopath.
Were you less alert after having had so many victories?
There was a big relaxation after passing the 100th. I don't know how it was for the other champions but somewhere I was thinking: “It’s not a big deal if it ends there. You really had a great run and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
Were you surprised that your challenger refused the large sum you offered him?
She wanted to sit in the chair, I completely understand that. She was super cute becauseshe was sorry but I told him it wasn't necessary. She had a very good score, there is nothing to say. I wish him an adventure as wonderful as mine.

How did you feel when you realized it was over?
Very strangely, this is the only show where I didn't cry because I was ready. It was a little while in my head where I said to myself: “You can lose at any time.” so I was prepared. You know when you sit in this chair that you are in an ejection seat. I took the chair at one point, it was a logical continuation… Everyone wants to take their place lives up to its name!
Was there still sadness in leaving this chair that you occupied for months?
You don't realize much at first. Sadness came in the days that followed especially in relation to the film crews. They are so caring and caring. It's a bit like a family. Moments with Cyril, Perrine (the coach, editor’s note)I missed the hairdressers, the makeup artists, the technicians. We get into our habits, I was in a cocoon.
You are 11th among the greatest champions of the game. How do you view your career?
It's unexpected because I've always taken victories one after the other. And The more we advance, the more we surprise ourselves. This may seem presumptuous, but I tell myself that after 104 shows, I'm still confident! (laughs)
