A dive into the Corsican environment. This Monday, November 11, the film team was invited to the set of “C à vous”. The Kingdom in theaters Wednesday. This film mixes a story of thugs and family. Thus, director Julien Colonna was present alongside Jeanne Herry, Ghjuvanna Benedetti and Saveriu Santucci to present the feature film, “far from bandit films”.
When the time came for the sequence entitled “the bonus of Lorrain Sénéchal”, following the interview on the film, two of the five guests present were invited to leave the set. Thus, the budding actress Ghjuvanna Benedetti and the actor Saveriu Santucci stood up at the same time as the columnist sat down.

Seeing them leave, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine said to them, with an undefined accent: “See you soon.” An intonation which did not escape Lorrain Sénéchal who immediately pinned it down, with a smile on his lips. “You speak Corsican, right?”he asked her. Embarrassed and taken aback, the presenter started laughing while asking the director from the Isle of Beauty how “see you soon” was said in Corsica.
And that’s when things got bad for Babeth. “See you later”he shared, before the host of “C à vous” in turn repeated the formula. “Is that Italian?”she naively questioned her interlocutor. A simple remark which almost turned into an insult for the Corsicans, the two peoples being historically opposed. This reluctance towards the Italians comes from the time when Corsica feared being annexed by its southern neighbors. A great silence therefore followed Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine's questioning before a great and joyful hubbub arose. A big “no” resonated on the France 5 set, while Michèle Laroque, also invited on the set, told him: “What are you saying?
