The First World War ended on November 11, 1918. What was to be “the last of the last” was followed by other tragedies. 106 years later, remembering the hell in which the Poilus lived, their sacrifices, is still a necessity. It is by addressing young people that peace can be lastingly imbued in people's minds. In Bressuire, many young firefighters were present alongside patriotic associations and personalities at the ceremony on November 11. Students in 3e Defense of the Supervielle college read poems and messages. So that hope is stronger than anything.
