Last March, Sandrine Quétier was the guest on the show Culture Media broadcast on Europe 1. Faced with Thomas Isle, she agreed to return to the reasons which pushed her to leave 50mn Inside during the season, in 2017.
A few years ago, Sandrine Quétier operated a radical career change by leaving her position as a presenter to launch into music and comedy. On March 29, she was the guest of Thomas Isle on his show Culture Media broadcast on Europe 1. The opportunity for her to look back on her TV career, but also on the reason for her departure from 50mn Inside. A program she co-presented with Nikos Aliagas from November 2006 until December 30, 2017.It was during the year that you left, why this decision during the season?“, the host asked him. “I've been thinking about it for two years. I said to myself: 'If you leave until June, you will leave for a year', it had to stop. The end of Dancing with the Stars is good and I decided it on a Saturday evening. On Monday, I went to see the producers and the bosses of the channel and I told them: 'I'll stop at the end of December,'” she replied.
“I've been thinking about it for years, I've reached the end“
Following the interview, she spoke about the producers' reaction to the announcement of her departure before the end of the season. “At first they told me no. They told me they didn't really believe it. Afterwards they understood. I told them: 'I've been thinking about it for years, I've reached the end, I've had extraordinary years on televisionI'm still in the desire, in the motivation, I can't begin to no longer want to and then there are lots of great adventures waiting for me,'” she said.

Last October, Sandrine Quétier once again spoke about this change in life which was caused by “a set of factors“, as she revealed in an interview with the media Ladies. “It's the fact that TF1 didn't allow me to do music and fiction alongside it in a, quote, professional way (…) The fact that there was a gap that was growing bigger and bigger between my life outside of TV where I was doing rock, where I composed, where I had a desire for fiction, to write, a desire for theater and the TV was very formatted… Everything was prepared for me, everything was very planned. There were relationships that were starting to become complicated…” she said.
