Due to the November 11 commemorations, six metro stations and one RER will be closed in Paris on Monday as soon as service begins.
Be careful, travel may be complicated in the capital. Several metro stations are closed in Paris on Monday due to the November 11 commemorations. A security perimeter was set up during the ceremony.
As a result, six metro stations and one RER will be closed with connections prohibited: Charles de Gaulle – Star (RER A, lines 1, 2 and 6), Champs-Élysées – Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13), Franklin D. Roosevelt (line 1 and 9), George V (ligne 1), Kléber (line 6) and Boissiere (ligne 6).
The RATP specifies that these stations will be closed from the start of the service, adding that they will reopen with “authorization from the police headquarters”.
Protective perimeters
Two protection perimeters will be set up on Monday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., we read in a prefectural decree. The first is in the Arc de Triomphe area and the second at the Champs-Élysées roundabout, near the Élysée.
Checks will be carried out to access these areas.
