the essential
Carried by Aron Dönnum in all the good moves, the TFC scored a third consecutive victory in Rennes during the 11th day of Ligue 1.
LEFTOVERS (5/10): He did well in the (very) little he had to do. Casually, he went on for a third match without conceding a goal.
SIDIBÉ (6.5): The world champion was again very valuable. Reassuring, never found wanting, he provided coverage and in duels.
CRESSWELL (6) : Boss in the air, the 22-year-old Englishman delivered a rather solid performance, even if he sometimes seemed on the edge or losing concentration.

MCKENZIE (6,5) : Well integrated into the TFC three-way defense, the American seems more and more calm during the matches. Full service for him.
DÖNNUM (7) : Without a doubt his best half of the season. The Norwegian was in all the right places in the first. If he was rather lucky on his goal, with a ball deflected by Santamaria, he was very active, fair and inspired.
CASSERES (6) : A lot of shadow work done by the Venezuelan, still as valuable as ever.
SIERRO (5.5) : A match well managed tactically, with good placement and several defensive interventions, but some technical errors in certain transmissions (52, 63, 72).

SUAZO (6.5) : Preferred over Kamanzi, he delivered a great first period. Very active and technically correct, it was the launching pad for several hot actions (10, 13). Replaced by KAMANZI (69).
ABOUKHLAL (6,5) : He can no longer make the difference through speed as before (8, 75), but remains a model of self-sacrifice. Well placed, he is a decisive passer for King; he delivers a great first period. Replaced by MESALI (90 + 2) for his first seconds among the pros.

KING (7) : Clinically to conclude with a real one-touch centre-forward goal, the Norwegian scored his third goal of the season, the second in three games. Precious with his back to goal, his understanding with Zakaria Aboukhlal is good for TFC. Replaced by BABICKA (69).
GBOHO (6) : TFC's offensive game no longer depends solely on him, and that's good news. His cross back for Sierro would have deserved to be decisive (13), the one for Dönnum was (23). A few excesses of greed cost the ball losses (53, 78). Replaced by ZAJC (87).
