The 22-year-old YouTuber was robbed on November 6 and protested on X about “a political recovery” of the facts by Jordan Bardella.
Inoxtag denounces “more political recovery”. While the YouTuber was the victim of a burglary on Wednesday November 6 in his house in Poissy (Yvelines), Jordan Bardella sent him a message of support on X.
“All my support for Inoxtag, victim of a burglary as happens to thousands of French people every year”posted the president of the National Rally on Saturday, pointing out a “sad reality [en] France in 2024: no one is safe from insecurity that has spiraled out of control”. The MEP took the opportunity to attack “to the extreme left activists who dare to rejoice in it with the baseness that characterizes them”.
Two burglaries in six months
Except that this support was not appreciated by the 22-year-old young man, followed by more than 8 million people on YouTube. The next day, Inoxtag responded to his tweet, denouncing “political recovery” of his burglary by Jordan Bardella. “We can’t take any more of you. Support the real French people who really need it…”he tackled.
While the YouTuber has been in the spotlight since the release of his film Kaizen which traces his ascent of Everest, he was the victim of a burglary. Contrary to what some media indicated, it was not directly his home but a house located in Poissy, which he owns and which he rents. “It is therefore his tenant who is the main victim”had corrected the Versailles prosecutor's office contacted by Le Figaro.
Faced with the influx of messages on social networks, Inoxtag kept its community informed of its situation on X, the day after the events: “Friends, everything is fine with me, two burglaries in the space of 6 months. The first was during my climb of Everest, where almost my entire sneaker and watch collection was stolen. The second took place yesterday: in another house of mine where they broke down the window with a crowbar, after having looked at everything this morning in peace they didn't take anything important, I don't know what they were looking for exactly.” His house is now placed “under surveillance”.
