Donnarumma has a record stolen!

Gianluigi Donnaruma is no longer the youngest player to have defended the colors of AC Milan.

Francesco Camarda will make AC Milan history. This Saturday evening, he will be the youngest starter of the modern era in Milan. The young Rossonero striker will play from the start of the match against Cagliari, thus breaking Donnarumma's single-day record. This has held since 2015 when the current PSG goalkeeper was thrown into the deep end by Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The last and only player to have a younger age among those who entered the field from the first minute of a match for the Rossoneri was Giuseppe Sacchi, in the 40s.

Donnarumma erased from the record books

In the absence of Morata, Paulo Fonseca therefore decided to give Camarda his first opportunity as a starter: the young rossonerro born in 2008 will make his debut as a starter at the age of 16 years, 7 months and 29 days .

In the modern era, the current record still belongs to Gianluigi Donnarumma, who entered the game in the 1′ against Sassuolo on October 25, 2015, when he was 16 years and 8 months old. The Rossoneri's new jewel will therefore beat the previous record by just one day.
