A devilishly effective opponent
The first half between AS Nancy-Lorraine (ASNL) and Paris 13 Atletico took place at a brisk pace, with intensity on both sides. The 22 players delivered a lively first act, Paris 13 Atletico was the first to strike on an attack led by Karamoco, taking advantage of a shot deflected off the back of Carlier to open the score, 0-1 (11'). This lucky goal shook the Nancy team, who quickly reacted to regain control of the match by creating numerous chances.
Gomel, very active, threatened the opposing goals twice in the 18th and 26th minutes, Bouriaud distinguished himself with two attempts in the 26th and 30th minutes, but each time, the Parisian goalkeeper, Sanou, intervened. Nancy's perseverance ends up paying off, with a great collective action: with a ladle, Gomel serves Bouabdeli who sends a strong cross in front of the goal, Touré emerges to deflect the ball into the back of the Parisian net 1-1 (31'). Far from being satisfied with this equalization, Nancy continued to attack. Sidibé forces Sanou to make another save in the 34th minute. Despite this pressure, Paris 13 Atletico held on until the break (1-1).
A vain domination
At the start of the second period, ASNL is less bleeding and Paris 13 Atletico still as realistic. Cissé served by Oyongo on the left side, cuts the trajectory, Sourzac can do nothing, 1-2 (59'). The continuation is an attack defense, the chances rain in front of the opposing goal: Bouabdeli (66', 69'), Dabasse ( 75'), come across an inspired Sanou. Gomel rushes his volley alone in front of the goal (79'), and a double save from the Parisian defense on his line dampens ASNL's last hopes of returning to the score. Nancy lost, 1-2, despite a performance that deserved much better. But thanks to the evening's results, Nancy retains her leadership position ahead of Concarneau.
