Autumn has been rather mild so far, and November records have even been broken recently. 12.7 degrees were measured on the Weissfluhjoch at 2700 meters above sea level. This week it continues like this: gray at the bottom, blue at the top. Then the weather changes.

The meteorologists from “Meteo Schweiz” and “SRF Meteo” are forecasting a lot of high fog for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This will partially dissipate and it will also be sunny in the lowlands. The temperatures rise again to up to 15 degrees on Friday and up to 14 degrees on the weekend.

Over the next few days, high fog will dominate and temperatures will remain in the double digits.

Are you looking forward to the snow?

But then thick clouds move in on Monday evening. These will bring some rain in the lowlands on Tuesday – and snow above 800 meters. The snowfall limit drops to 1200 to 800 meters.

At the same time, the temperatures are also falling: a maximum of 5 to 8 degrees is expected on Tuesday, and at an altitude of 2,000 meters the temperatures are below freezing.
