At the Pierre-Darasse college in Caussade (Tarn-et-Garonne), on the occasion of the National Day to Combat Bullying at School, students mobilized.

On the occasion of the National Day Against Bullying at School, Thursday morning, at the Pierre-Darasse de Caussade college, the resource team of the PHARe program (Program to Combat Bullying at School), whose representatives are two teachers, Pascale Perez and Sophie Serra, had planned a set of awareness and prevention actions. A green dress code had been suggested and desired for everyone, green being the color associated with the fight against harassment. A distribution of green ribbons was carried out to all classes of the college by PHARe Ambassador students during the first class hour of the day.

A wall of expression “No to harassment!” » focused on kindness was installed in the study room. A special ringtone for the day which is an extract from the song “L'Effet de masse” by Maëlle which says: “He was in my class, He lived in your street, He was the one opposite, Yes, you have already seen him, He shared your heart, In the wicked mornings, You laughed at him because, He was different. » The installation of three different prevention posters throughout the college. “Moreover, during the back-to-school fortnight (from Monday 4 to Friday 15 November 2024), all middle school students will benefit from an hour of class life dedicated to bullying, for the sixth level, and to cyberbullying, for the fifth, fourth and third levels,” explains Pascale Perez.
During this day, the college students showed all their determination to fight against this scourge which will now gain momentum with social networks.

A global prevention plan

The program to combat bullying at school, PHARe, is a comprehensive plan for preventing and dealing with bullying situations. Implemented since 2021, generalized to schools and colleges at the start of the 2022 school year, it has been extended to high schools since the start of the 2023 school year. 100% of schools and establishments are implementing this program.
This program currently relies on a network of 400 academic and departmental referents, spread across the country, to deal with harassment situations reported by school principals and thanks to the 3018 emergency number platform.

Clear messages on the expression wall

The Resource team is made up of nineteen people including management staff, nurses, social workers, main education councils, teachers, education assistants, support workers for students with disabilities and an agent. The representative ambassadors are Patricia Gardelle, Claire Gonzalez, Emmanuelle Grave, Pamela Moreau, Adrien Requena. The pHARe representatives are two teachers Pascale Perez and Sophie Serra. There are twenty-one pHARe student ambassadors enrolled in fifth and third grade classes as well as in IME.
On their wall of expression, the middle school students wrote:
“Hold it back!” Do not criticize, especially on the physical side because it can destroy the person's mind, never judge! »
“We must not make fun of you, yes to you, the harassers, stop and to the victims, go and talk to those around you, CPE, PP, they will help you. »
“I also experienced harassment for five years, so protect yourself, it will be okay, courage! »
“Violence is prohibited on this planet and stop, no violence in college. »
“In a class, there are several groups of friends. But there are also people who feel alone. I don't know if it's a form of harassment to ignore others. »
