Chelsea enjoyed a quite memorable night on Thursday by thrashing Noah by an 8-0 scoreline at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea kept up their 100 per cent win record in the Conference League group stages in emphatic fashion this evening, winning 8-0 at home to Armenian club Noah.
The Blues had a six-goal lead by half-time after a remarkable opening 45 minutes. Joao Felix (two), Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Axel Disasi and Mykhailo Mudryk scored in the first-half. Christopher Nkunku then continued the scoring in the second period with a brace.
Pat Nevin claimed this week Chelsea won’t care too much about the Conference League. Despite the fact that Enzo Maresca made 11 changes again in midweek for the European match, his side looks strong favourites to go all the way in the competition.
Jason Cundy liked Joao Felix display in Chelsea demolition of Noah
Jason Cundy did single out Chelsea’s Joao Felix for individual praise during his display versus Noah.
The 24-year-old attacker scored the first of his two goals with a beautiful chipped finish over the goalkeeper. In terms of his second goal, he showed great feet in the penalty box before firing a shot that went in via a deflection.
“Felix has been excellent. He’s really put a shift in. He understands this game. He was worth £100m not that long ago and he’s playing against a side that’s seven years old. I’ve been impressed with him,” Cundy said via Chelsea’s official app (8:50pm, 7 November).
Maresca admitted he’d love to play Chelsea’s Felix more in the Premier League, but he finds himself stuck behind Cole Palmer as the understudy for the No.10 position.
The Portugal international is still making an impact whenever he plays this season. In fact, he’s got five goals in 10 matches across all competitions.
Joao Felix statistics vs Noah
Yet again, Felix proved his class in front of goal during Chelsea’s run in Europe this season. He’s now scored four times in the Blues’ three Conference League group stage matches.
Fotmob data provided the individual statistics from Felix’s Chelsea display against Noah:

Jamie Carragher was right with his concerns about Felix’s game time at Chelsea, but the club’s participation in various cup competitions does at least give him opportunities to play. He couldn’t have done much more to show the manager his ability with Thursday’s performance.
