Lyon, Nice… The complete general classification after the 4th day

The 4th day of the new Europa League formula, between and OL, was held this Thursday, November 7. Discover the updated C3 rankings.

Nice and were back on the European scene this Thursday for the 4th day of the Europa League which is launching its new formula this season. Engaged in a single group, the two French clubs and their 34 competitors have the mission of securing at least one of the first 24 places if they want to continue their path in the competition.

First on deck this Thursday, OGC Nice took a point at home against the Dutch from Twente (2-2) thanks to an equalizer at the end of the match at 10 against 11. A mixed result which does not really help the situation of the Azuréens in this Europa League, in which they occupy 10th place.

A little later in the evening, Lyon also shared the points on the field of Hoffenheim (2-2) thanks to goals from the Brazilian Abner Vinicius and Alexandre Lacazette. Thanks to this point taken away from home, the Lyonnais are now 9th in the standings, within striking distance of the Top 8 which would ensure them direct qualification for the round of 16.

They will be joined by the eight winners of the round-trip play-offs between the teams ranked between 9th and 24th place.
