Many international leaders are sending their congratulations to Donald Trump, even before the final results of the American presidential election.
Barely claimed by Donald Trump himself, his victory is already being hailed around the world. The Republican candidate declared himself the winner of the American election during a speech given on the night of Tuesday November 5 to Wednesday November 6 in his stronghold of West Palm Beach, Florida, in front of a cheering crowd.
From the end of his speech, international reactions were not long in coming, overriding the final count.
European leaders reaffirm link with the United States

Another reaction to the victory – still supposed – of Donald Trump, that of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who congratulates the Republican for his “historic electoral victory” and also says he is “impatient to work” with him “in the years to come .”
“As our closest allies, we stand side by side in defense of our shared values of freedom, democracy and free enterprise,” the Labor leader said in a statement, assuring that this “special relationship” between them two countries “would continue to prosper”.
Mark Rutte, Secretary General of NATO, also announced on X that he had congratulated Donald Trump “on his election to the presidency of the United States.” He added: “His leadership will once again be essential to maintaining the strength of our Alliance.
