Dan Friedkin is losing patience with Everton manager Sean Dyche and has already identified the man he could replace him with at Goodison Park.
Everton‘s last two games have put Sean Dyche‘s future back into doubt. A late draw against Fulham was followed up with an embarrassing loss away to Southampton.
Dan Friedkin’s takeover of Everton is picking up pace and should be completed next month at the very latest, with plans already being put in place for his arrival.
However, with things turning sour at Roma due to their current results and manager situation, the attention of the Friedkin Group may be diverted for Italy to now.
Graham Potter has been linked with a surprise move to take the job at Roma, but nothing is certain.
Interestingly, it now appears as if a managerial change could be on the cards at Everton, with a new name being eyed by Dan Friedkin.
Dan Friedkin identifies Sergio Conceicao as progressive replacement for Sean Dyche at Everton
Sean Dyche has a crunch clash with Julen Lopetegui to come at the weekend, with the West Ham United boss also under scrutiny after recent results.
Everton fans have already asked for the sacking of Dyche, and some even pointed out David Moyes as a potential replacement.
However, it appears as if the Friedkin Group have identified a new manager target.
According to TalkSPORT, Everton boss Sean Dyche is under scrutiny from incoming new owner Dan Friedkin and the out-of-work Sergio Conceicao would be seen as a progressive appointment.
Record manager of Sergio Conceicao
Interestingly, the Portuguese boss is out of work after leaving Porto earlier on this year.
Conceicao led Porto to three league titles among 11 major honours, so he knows a thing or two about success and winning trophies.
He managed 368 games for the Portuguese club and managed a whopping 2.29 points per game.
The 49-year-old likes to play a 4-2-3-1 formation. His approach is very possession-heavy as he likes his team to recycle the ball in defence before giving it to one of his midfielders or one of the centre-backs dribbling the ball into midfield, though, like Dyche, he also doesn’t mind having less possession.
