King Felipe VI of Spain and his wife, Queen Letizia, arrived on Sunday November 3 in Paiporta, near Valencia (East), one of the cities most bereaved by the floods which ravaged the southeast this week of the country, leaving at least 217 dead according to a latest report. Accompanied by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, they were greeted with cries of« assassins ! » by a crowd who threw mud at the procession. The hostility is particularly directed against the conservative president of the Valencia region, Carlos Mazon, and the head of the socialist government. “Mazon resignation!” », “how many deaths?” »shouted the crowd, who accused the authorities of having sent a late warning message to residents on Tuesday.

Shooting in : the teenager injured in the head died

The 15-year-old teenager, seriously injured by a gunshot to the head during a shooting on Thursday evening in Poitiers, died on Saturday, November 2, announced the Poitiers public prosecutor, Cyril Lacombe.
