Stade Rennes is probably at a turning point in its recent history. Stuck in the soft underbelly of the ranking, the Breton club which missed its start to the season lost 4-0 to a promoted side, recording its worst setback since 2016.
A meeting at the end of which Julien Stéphan, Amine Gouiri and Baptiste Santamaria spoke of “shame”, while sports director Frederic Massara appeared in front of the press for the first time, a symbol of the current crisis.
