Thursday evening, a 22-year-old rugby player from the Romans-Péage Rugby Club was shot in the head in front of a nightclub in a town in Ardèche, just outside Valence. He died from his injuries on Saturday. And this, almost a year after the death of Thomas, dismissed from the same rugby club, during a ball in Crépol, on the night of November 18 to 19, 2023. The various sources contacted by Le Figaro are unanimous: the two cases, as dramatic as they are, have no connection. Except for gratuitous violence.

The events took place around 2:30 a.m. in Saint-Péray, in front of the Le Seven nightclub.
