During the press conference following their League of Legends Worlds 2024 final triumph over Bilibili Gaming, members of Team T1 revealed their preferences for commemorative skins celebrating their Worlds 2024 victory.
The T1s have made their choice of champion for the Worlds 2024 skins
On Saturday, November 2, the grand final of League of Legends Worlds 2024 offered a memorable Bo5 duel between T1 and Bilibili Gaming, two of the most impressive teams in the tournament. After an opening ceremony marked in particular by the performance of Linkin Park, the long-awaited clash kept all its promises, ending with a victory for T1, seed 4 of the LCK and reigning world champion, with a close score of 3-2. This fifth coronation for Faker and his team further consolidates their status as legends in the history of League of Legends.
In Riot Games tradition, commemorative skins will be made to celebrate this year's champions. And in keeping with tradition, T1 players have shared their champion preferences for these special skins, working with Riot Games to customize every detail. During the post-final press conference, the T1 members revealed their choices:
- Zeus : Gragas, Camille or Ornn
- Oner : Viou Xin Zhao
- Faker (MVP) : What might please the fans / what the fans will choose (we can imagine Sylas or Galio)
- Gumayusi : Jhin ou Varus
- Dig it up : Neeko, Renata or Pyke (Keria posted a poll on her Instagram account)
These selections represent each player's notable champions during the tournament, but remain proposals. Riot Games, in collaboration with players, will finalize these choices to ensure that each skin best reflects the style and performance impact of T1 players. Fans will have to wait until summer 2025, probably before the Mid-Season Invitational, to learn more about the Worlds 2024 skins and see the first images. As a reminder, the Worlds 2023 skins in homage to the previous coronation of T1 were released at the end of July with patch 14.16, a highly anticipated release which captivated the community.
