Four days after the tragedy in Valencia, where DANA has claimed the lives of more than 200 people, Charles of England has sent this message of condolences to Felipe VI and the people of Spain through his different social networks:
“Your Majesty, My wife and I were completely heartbroken to learn of the destruction and devastation that followed the catastrophic floods in the south and east of Spain. There are many people in the UK who have strong personal ties to Spain, and our nations are united by many things we have in common. We extend our deepest condolences to you and the people of Spain for the tragic loss of so many lives. “Our special thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with all those who have lost their loved ones and their livelihoods in this terrible week.”

During the last few days, messages of condolence from the different royal houses have not stopped, such as that of the kings of Holland who, “in these days of fear and despair,” have wanted to express their affection “to the Spanish people, with whom “We feel so much connection.” His message joins those of King Felipe, who “together with the queen”, has sent his condolences to all the affected families.”
