Beaten by (0-1), this Friday evening, Monaco lost a second consecutive match. The Monegasques coach, Adi Hütter, did not like what he saw on the pitch from his men.

Monaco is in a bad situation. This Friday evening, at the opening of the tenth day of Ligue 1, the Monegasques recorded their second consecutive defeat, this time at home, against Angers (0-1). A game marked by a large domination of the locals, who monopolized the ball (64% possession), but who waited until the 55th minute to score the first of their three shots, out of a total of eleven attempts. At the end of this meeting, Adi Hütter appeared in front of the press. Beyond the result, the AS Monaco coach clearly did not appreciate the content shown by his men on the pitch. In comments reported by AFP, the technician notably declared on this subject: “It's our worst match of the season. It's simple, we missed everything, especially in the first half. Angers made a very good match, but above all because of our way of playing, “disordered and too slow”.

Monaco continues with the Champions League next week

Hütter did not hesitate to apologize to the local fans who had taken their place in the Louis-II enclosure, such as, for example, Prince Albert II, present in his box. The Monegasque coach also did not fail to specify that the meeting would have to be “analyzed very hard and very hard”: “If I am harsh, I only talk about performances on the pitch. We cannot accept this type of performance We must find our identity, our style, our bases and remain humble.” After remaining undefeated during its first eleven matches, in all competitions, Monaco lost its second consecutive match. This is a second defeat in Ligue 1, after the first last Sunday on the pitch (2-1). The Monegasques will not have time to feel sorry for themselves because the Champions League returns next week, with a trip planned to Italy, on the pitch in Bologna, this Tuesday evening at 9:00 p.m.
