On Sunday evening (October 27th), Schlager fans will get their money’s worth. Vox is showing a new edition of “Sing meine Schlager”, in which well-known artists perform the hits of a pop legend in front of a live audience.

The second broadcast of “Sing meine Schlager” was aimed solely at singer Marianne Rosenberg. Throughout the evening, the guests reinterpreted their hits and celebrated together with the 69-year-old. However, one day after the broadcast, sad news made the rounds.

“Sing my hit song”: bitter news for the Vox show

The evening of music for and with Marianne Rosenberg doesn’t seem to have been particularly well received by the audience. As the industry magazine DWDL reports, a total of only 850,000 people watched. There were only 130,000 viewers in the target group!

For comparison: Last week, the “Sing mein Schlager” edition with Matthias Reim was able to attract a whopping 1.19 million viewers to the screens. But this Sunday they had to admit defeat to the competition in prime time.

“Sing my hit” far behind the competition

Among the private broadcasters, Sat.1 and ProSieben in particular were able to win with feature films. While Sat.1 convinced a total of 1.24 million viewers with the repeat of “Fack ju Göhte 2”, ProSieben was able to reach 1.28 million people with the film “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”.

However, the absolute number one that evening was once again the “Tatort” on ARD. A total of 8.09 million people watched as detectives Lena Odenthal (played by Ulrike Folkerts) and Johanna Stern (played by Lisa Bitter) went looking for clues (we reported).
