In a press release, the Var prefecture indicates that “d“In the emergency, and in order to take into account the situation of vulnerable people, three medical evacuations were carried out by helicopter to hospitals in the area.”.

After the bad weather, the unique configuration of this park was transformed into a constraint. In the press release, the prefecture indicates that the Departmental Council will begin work to repair a track from this Monday, October 28, in order to allow “to create new access to the site and for residents who wish to leave the site.”

“The management of the estate has undertaken to put in place a security agent to prohibit access to the bridge and to launch expert work before carrying out repairs. State services
will accompany this process.”

The Canebières area is appreciated for its tranquility and its natural setting. “It’s an area that extends over three hills,” Loïc Tardif tells us. It describes an atmosphere “very family friendly” during the summer. “The particularity of the domain is that there is only one entrance which is also the exithe emphasizes. So people are effectively stuck inside.”

The place has 771 plots, reserved solely for second homes. With the Var prefecture, the estate management ensured “put in place a security agent to prohibit access to the bridge and launch expert work before carrying out repairs”.

A press point will be organized this Monday, October 28 in the afternoon to take stock of the situation.
