AS ROMA NEWS INTER INZAGHI – Simone Inzaghicoach ofInterreleased some statements after the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 victory against Roma in the championship. These are his words:

You don’t concede goals against top teams, is it a question of concentration?
“That certainly, if we look at the 3 games where we didn’t concede a goal, they are 3 important teams. We know that we have to improve, Roma are an important team, we were good. The first half was balanced, in the second half we had the opportunity to double the lead. The Olympic stadium is a difficult pitch, I’m happy with what the boys showed.”
The importance of having continuity on the road? Are you worried about injuries in midfield and defense?
“The second question worries me, tonight we had some problems in between, Çalhanoğlu wasn’t very well but yesterday he did well in training. Asllani and Zielinski I would have made other choices. Çalhanoğlu is a generous boy but he stopped in time. The pain remained as before the race, without getting worse. At home we are having a good record, away from home we were lacking points. Last year we were perfect. We knew it was difficult to stay, we were teams and that’s what matters most. Coming here and winning is not easy.”
What does Lautaro have to do to win the Golden Ball?
“He must continue like this, with Inter and with the national team. he is among the top 5 in the world, he deserves it. I would give it to all the kids tonight. Roma brings in Soulé, Baldanzi, Le Fée, it’s a long and well-built team. Winning here is important.”
I don’t ask you anything about Juventus…
“We leave for Bern on Tuesday, we will prepare it in a day and a half…”.

What value do you give to this victory?
“Very important, against a worthy opponent with difficulties. After 28 minutes I had used two substitution slots, but the boys were very good. In the last three days I said that during the away match we needed to start again, last year we did things that we were missing now. It’s the fourth victory in a row, I congratulated the boys. We should have scored the second goal, but Svilar was good on Dumfries and on Thuram’s first, where he was covered. They helped themselves by not conceding so much to a quality team: it won’t be easy for all the others here.”
Was this the best defensive game together in Manchester?
“Yes, then they brought in quality players. We lowered ourselves a little more, Correa gave us a hand on Dimarco’s side because I didn’t know whether to put Carlos who was a bit sore.
