During the launch show last week, Charles, originally from Pléneuf-Val-André, moved his family. Gael, his father, who was present in the audience, could not contain his tears. “My emotion caused a little buzz”he explains. “A week before, we were still having breakfast together. Seeing him on stage in front of millions of people was overwhelming.”

Passionate about singing, Gaël has always shared this passion with his son. “We sing all the time at home”he says. “It’s our daily life.”

Charles’ grandfather, Claude, follows his grandson on television, and is very proud! “During the first Prime, there were tissues everywhere! When I saw him walking down the steps, calmly, I was amazed by his ease. It looked like he had been doing that forever.”

Although Charles never took singing lessons, he learned to sing with his family. “He has always sung, with his family, during meals”specifies Claude.

For this second Prime, the family hopes that all of will be behind him. “We are proud of him and he needs everyone’s support,” concludes Gaël.
