The prizes of the Rolex Shanghai Masters 2024

At this stage, all the favorites remain in the race, for the final victory, the 1,000 points in the ATP rankings and the financial bonus promised to the winner.

Increased prize money but especially for those beaten at the start

It is 1.1 million dollars this year, that is to say slightly lower translated into the current euro, than during the previous edition. However, the organizer of this Rolex Shanghai Masters 2024 has increased the total amount of prize money distributed to players by just $200,000 (to 8.2 million euros in total). But the increase is obvious for those beaten in the first rounds and in particular those excluded from the start, who saw their bonus increase by 21% over one year.

A little over 400,000 euros for the winners of the doubles event

The Shanghai Masters 1000 also concerns doubles players. For the winners, the bonus this year amounts to 408,130 euros, while their opponents in the final will pocket 216,066 euros. On the casting side, the five seeded individuals – Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev – still remain in the race this Wednesday, October 9, as does the Frenchman, Gael Monfils. The final is scheduled for Sunday October 13.
