Real Madrid’s starting lineup to face Villarreal at 9 p.m. is out.
Just under two hours before the kick-off of Villarreal’s La Liga reception, Real Madrid have just announced their starting lineup. Carlo Ancelotti decided to give his starters a chance to bounce back after the rout in Lille. The only changes in his eleven are the return of Kylian Mbappé and the tenure of Luka Modrić, who compensates for a too short Militao with a Tchouaméni who slides into central defense.
In defense, it is a quartet of Carvajal, Tchouaméni, Rüdiger and Mendy who are chosen to protect the cages of Lunin, who still replaces Courtois, injured. In the middle, Carlo Ancelotti chose Camavinga at low point, who is accompanied by Modric, Valverde and Bellingham to form a diamond midfield. In front of them, it is the Vinicius Jr.-Mbappé duo who will carry out the attack.
