On the program for outings with children in Pays de Savoie this Saturday, October 5, 2024: a selection of workshops and activities from the 33rd edition of the Science Festival, the Autumn Festival and the Possible Festival at Annecy.
33e Science Festival on the theme “an ocean of knowledge”: lots of free activities are organized, scientific and fun workshops for example.
Haute-Savoie side : “Fossil and history of life” at the Visitation Cultural Center (Thonon) this Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Creative workshops on the theme of the ocean & the sea (marine animal stencils), this morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Palais des sports in Megève with the Micro Folie., recommended for children aged 6 to 11. And digital workshops are on the continuous program this Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m. in La Turbine sciences in Cran-Gevrier; which is celebrating during these 10 days of Science Festival 2024, since you can also visit the Illusion exhibition there as well. Finally, it’s a whole great nature day which is organized at the Majestic Congress Center in Chamonix on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Aiguilles Rouges National Nature Reserve. Savoie side : In Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, a science village is set up in the Cour de l’évêché from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with workshops and activities planned. In Cognin, at the water workshop, workshops from water to the ocean are obviously offered, meeting from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. And in Aix-les-Bains, Aqualis is also at the Science Festival with its game of plateau Ecoa at 2:30 p.m. I would like to point out that this requires registration with Aqualis in advance. Two parties this Saturday in Annecy : The Autumn Festival in the heart of the Quartier du Lac from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a village of local exhibitors and lots of creative activities for children coloring on the theme of autumn, creative workshop Tonton Carton with the children will make and decorate their leaf autumn. And Corinne from the MT ‘Créa workshop sets up a photo studio in the colors of Autumn. For snacks there are pancakes and brioches cooked on site. And Festival of Possibilities and its dramatized walk departing from the Accorderie from 3 p.m. and lots of other activities.
