Napoli extended their lead at the top of the Serie A table after recording an encouraging 3-1 victory over Como, for a fifth win and a draw in their last six league matches.

Napoli arrived at the match top of the Serie A table after six matches. Como were 10th after securing back-to-back 3-2 wins over Atalanta and Hellas Verona in the last two weeks.
After winning their last matches, neither Antonio Conte nor Cesc Fabregas have decided to make any changes to their starting line-up.
It took McTominay just 25 seconds to open the scoring. He received the ball from Romelu Lukaku, took the ball in his hand to carry it into the box, then sent the ball to the left post to open the scoring early.
But from there, Como had the best chances of the first half. Nico Paz was the most threatening player on the pitch and came close on several occasions, including a shot off the post from 25 yards out after 33 minutes.
The visitors earned an equalizer moments before the break, with Strefezza managing to slip through the legs of Alessandro Buongiorno on the edge of the area, who beat Elia Caprile and finished into the far corner.
Napoli regained the lead five minutes into the second half, thanks to a penalty won by Matias Olivera after an exchange with Lukaku just inside the Como penalty area. The Belgian stepped up to take the penalty and sent the ball into the center of the field, deceiving Audero for 2-1.
Conte’s half-time team talk appeared to have worked, as Como were largely neutralized in the second half, despite a promising opening 45 minutes.
Kvaratskhelia made two decisive runs down the left flank with 15 minutes remaining, but his first effort resulted in a routine save for Audero, while the other ended with an unsuccessful free-kick.
Napoli sealed their victory four minutes before the end of the 90th minute. Another great action from Lukaku allowed David Neres to find himself one-on-one with Audero. The Brazilian made no mistake and found the back of the net from 12 yards out.
Napoli will finish the weekend on top of the Serie A table for a second consecutive week, as they are currently four points ahead of Juventus in second.
