Iconic host of the Miss France election, could Jean-Pierre Foucault consider passing the baton? While the regional Miss elections continue across the country, the TF1 presenter is preparing to host the big evening: the election of Miss France 2025, scheduled for next December. This edition will be particularly special, since it will mark the thirtieth time that Jean-Pierre Foucault has taken the reins of the event. It is therefore completely understandable that he chose not to retire, and he confirmed it with conviction this Sunday, September 29, during his appearance on the talk show C media on France 5.
“I will be there again this year in December for my thirtieth birthday. […] For now, unless there are compelling health reasons, I will be there”. In response, columnist Lise Pressac reminded him of a promise made several years ago: if Miss Provence was one day elected, he would hang up the microphone and the costume. “Yes but it’s me who makes the selections…”, he said with humor before continuing more seriously: “One day I will have to stop. I’m now 46, or 48, I can’t count. But for the moment, I feel in a condition to still be able to provide the only major live broadcast on French television lasting more than three hours, without interruption. [ni] montage”. However, this day has not yet arrived.

A woman at the helm of Miss France?
However, Jean-Pierre Foucault is not in denial and knows that this day will eventually arrive. Although he affirms that we are not yet at the stage of choosing or thinking about his successor, he still shared his opinion on the matter: “If it were to be very, very close, I think that a woman to present Miss France would be a good idea.” So who will succeed Jean-Pierre Foucault when the time comes? Your predictions!
