A breath of fresh air for the people of Brussels, who however had a significant absence in their selection: Anouar Ait El Hadj. The coach Sébastien Pocognoli explained at a press conference.

“It’s a selection choice,” he began. “We now have a lot of competition. We are starting to have a fairly wide midfield, where there is a lot of competition in midfield.”
“Anouar is in the squad for Thursday’s Europa League match (against Bodo/Glimt, nda). He will therefore be back for this match.”
“These are often choices concerning the appearance of a match or a game plan that we have in mind. It is also a sign for him – but not only for him – that the competition is great and that the selection is merit in training and in matches.”
