New road drama this Saturday. Around 8:50 a.m., an accident occurred on Departmental 488, in Givors. According to initial findings made on site, a vehicle left the road in a bend.
The car, a Renault Mégane, hit a tree before rolling several times and stopping on an embankment at the side of the road.
Vital prognosis engaged for the second victim
Two occupants were in this car. Emergency services had to extricate them. They tried everything to bring a man in his twenties back to life but the victim unfortunately died.
The other occupant, a 19-year-old woman, in serious condition, was treated and transported to a recovery unit in Lyon Sud. His vital prognosis is in jeopardy.
