The women’s and men’s winners of the 2025 Australian Open (January 12-26) will receive a check for just over 2 million euros. A sum slightly higher than that of the previous edition.
The allocation has been revised upwards. The 2025 Australian Open (January 12-26) will offer a very nice reward to the winners of the women’s and men’s draw, who will pocket the sum of 2.1 million euros.
A total allocation of 58 million euros
This amount is slightly higher than the check given to Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner, who received 1.94 million euros after their coronation last year in Melbourne. And the Belarusian as well as the Italian, at the top of the WTA and ATP rankings, will be favorites in their own succession to pocket this jackpot.
The unsuccessful finalists will receive 1.14 million euros (1.06 million euros in 2024), compared to 660,000 euros for the semi-finalists (610,000 euros in 2024). For their part, players eliminated in the first round will receive 80,000 euros (74,000 euros in 2024). In doubles, the winners will receive the sum of 487,000 euros.
In total, the prize pool for the first Grand Slam of the season amounts to 58.18 million euros, an increase of 12% compared to the previous edition.
