Beautiful night for the Blues at the Australian Open qualifiers

There will be at least one Frenchwoman who will emerge from the jungle of Australian Open qualifying. Selena Janicijevic and Léolia Jeanjean, winners respectively of Mariam Bolkvadze (6-4, 6-2) and Ella Seidel (5-7, 6-4, 6-2), will meet in the third round on the night of Wednesday to Thursday and will therefore play their place in the final table. It would be a good habit for Jeanjean, already out of qualifying in Melbourne in 2023 and 2024. In 2023, Janicijevic had done the same before exiting qualifying last year.
