At only 21 years old, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is preparing to play his third semi-final on the big circuit. After Lyon and Basel in 2024 (two tournaments which he subsequently won), the Frenchman qualified for the final four of the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane, without having to face the slightest break point. Still not broken since the start of the tournament (in 40 service games), the 31st player in the world started his match against Jakub Mensik like the previous ones, stringing together aces with eloquent regularity (20 in total) and calm.
