After having designated the player who could do well in 2025 and win her first Grand Slam title, Andy Roddick took an interest in the case of Iga Swiatek in the latest episode of his podcast.

And the former world number 1 expressed his concerns about the mental health of the Pole who will constantly have to return to her doping case in the coming weeks.

“My only concern for Iga Swiatek is how she will land in Australia and how she will answer the questions. Because what's going to happen is she's going to have to give the same answer to the same question every day for the next three months. Lesser people would become impatient, I certainly would have been. She is sensitive, we see her get emotional more than Jannik Sinner, who keeps things calm and tight. I'm just worried about a coaching change, this doping thing and how it will present itself in Australia. »
