Iga Swiatek defeated Paula Badosa this Friday to send Poland into the quarters of the Billie Jean King Cup. The host country, Spain, is eliminated.

Organized this year in Malaga, the Billie Jean King Cup started late. Due to torrential rains hitting Andalusia, the opening match between Spain and Poland scheduled for this Wednesday has been postponed to this Friday. Swiatek too strong for Badosa
