On the program for this week in blue: Benjamin Bonzi's crazy series, an ITF success for Gabriel Debru, juniors and the start of PRO A.
ATP / Challenger: Bonzi triumphs in Metz
Just a few weeks ago, in mid-September, Benjamin Bonzi was ranked 180th in the ATP and seemed far away. Today everything has changed, the Gardois has started a fantastic comeback, winning two Challenger titles and reaching the final of another.
An impressive dynamic punctuated this weekend by a triumph at the Moselle Open, his first trophy on the ATP circuit. After qualifying, “Ben” notably beat Casper Ruud (his first success in a top 10), Quentin Halys then Cameron Norrie during a superbly controlled finale. This Monday, he is 78th in the world and he can legitimately aim higher in the coming months.

Following Benjamin Bonzi's Moselle career, there are now 13 French people in the ATP Top 100!
Still in Metz, the Alsatian duo Pierre-Hugues Herbert / Albano Olivetti reached the final of the doubles draw
On the Challenger circuit, Théo Arribagé also reached the final of the Helsinki tournament, associated with Monegasque Romain Arneodo.
ITF : Debru passes the 4th
If the results are not yet regular, Gabriel Debru continues to progress at its own pace. The Isérois emerged victorious from the “$25,000” in Heraklion, winning his 4th professional title in his career, the first on hard court.
He is not the only blue winner of the week in ITF since Maxence Beaugé in Monastir($15,000, Tunisia) and Tom Paris in Szabolcsveresmart ($15,000, Hungary) also left with the trophy. Note that in this same tournament, in doubles, Matt Ponchet reached the final, with Nikita Mashtakov.
On the female side too, a Frenchwoman shone. During a 100% tricolor final at the W35 in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Emeline Dartron dominated Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah in the final. This is the first professional title for the CSM Eaubonne player. In doubles, the duo composed of Marie Mattel and the Cypriot Frayman won.
In the rest of the circuit, Carole Monnet finished finalist in doubles at the “75000$” in Ismaning (Germany) with the Dutch Haverlag, while Océane Dodin reached the final in Pétanges (Luxembourg, $75,000). As for Kenny De Schepperhe won the double at the “$15,000” in Monastir with the Portuguese Tiago Pereira.
Juniors: blue successes at Bouscat
The young Blues shine at home. In the women's table of J30 du Bouscat, Lana Chloé Abbaba imposed itself in the face of Mila Bastianelli in singles while the duo Bastianelli / Ninon Carpentier won the doubles trophy. On the boys' side, it's Marc Aurèle Desmoulins Ricot who won in singles. In doubles, victory went to Baptiste Berthier / Gregory Vrel Nagel at the expense of Luca Iliescu / Rafael Thao-Keuang.
In the rest of the circuit, Capucine Dournes played the final at the J30 in Kenitra (Morocco). In the same tournament but on the boys side, Jalane Salaun-Ouillemon finished runner-up in singles and winner in doubles. Finally, Laura Valentine Pop et Nehira I say also reached the final at the J60 in Nairobi (Kenya).
