From a few hours, the net is in turmoil. Images of the alleged packaging of the Nintendo SWITCH 2 just leaked online. We see a console with a large screen surrounded by two strange Joy-Con which would be fixed in a new way and whose central part could be moved up and down thanks to a magnetic sliding system. The current Joy-Con would however remain compatible.
The console comes with a new dock that allows it to be used in tabletop mode. Moreover, the image seems to attest to the name of the console: the Nintendo SWITCH 2. It also seems to indicate that this new console is fully backward compatible with the old one since on the menu, we only see games from the current Switch, which could suggest that nintendo (again if true) will position its new console as a new iPhone model / perpetual platform. In detail, we see that the menu will be a priori dynamic and will allow, in the absence of a theme, to see game images in the background. Rumor has it that the console could be announced This year for an exit early next year… But if the leak is real, given the games we see on the console, it would be more logical for the new model to come out this year with Super Mario Bros.
