The Dutch brand Tenways is presenting two VAE à Vélo in Paris, a Dutch AGO T and a mid-engined cargo bike.
During the Vélo in Paris event, Tenways decided to bring two new products exclusively. The Dutch brand has anticipated the next Eurobike and Pro Days shows, for our pleasure. They are two very different e-bikes. The first, AGO T, is an urban One; the second, Cargo One, a twin carrier.
Tenways AGO T, a high-torque urban car
The Tenways AGO T is designed as for its country Of origin, the Netherlands. So it’s the top-of-the-line Dutch bike above the CGO800S, with an open frame, low seat and high handlebars. The firm reinforces the comfort side with a Suntour front suspension and a telescopic seat post. Of course equipped, it opts for mudguards and a 27 kg welded and painted luggage rack. Cut out for the city, this model features a belt transmission (with upper casing), via Enviolo manual continuously variable gearbox.
More surprisingly, the Bafang M420 motor on the crankset displays 80 Nm of torque (close to the AGO X). Replacing the Mivice blocks of the CGOs, it should be suitable for buyers in hilly or even mountainous environments. Because Tenways first developed in the north and west of France. It is with this model that the brand wants to conquer regions such as Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes or PACA, with Grenoble in particular. The Tenways AGO T does not forget a removable 504 Wh battery to last around 100 km per charge (in theory). Downside of this model, a weight of 30 kg, not for all arms! It also includes a new screen for Tenways.

This display inaugurated by this AGO T is rectangular, in the center of the handlebar. Rather than a small diagonal with essential information, it is built like a car speedometer, with speedometer and gauge, and very small battery, mileage or level of assistance indicators. Too small perhaps?
Tenways Cargo One, the two-wheeler
In any case, this display is also installed on the new cargo bike Tenways Cargo One (or 1?). Being Dutch and also having to target the German market, the brand preferred to first invest in the field of the biporteur. This model is classic in its design, with a city VAE base with a suspended wraparound front box. Tenways brings LED headlights integrated into the body and dynamic indicators to embellish the whole.

For details, the company declined to say more, as it reserves the “real” presentation at Eurobike on June 15. However, there is a mid-motor which is believed to be the same Bafang as the AGO X in order to provide sufficient torque. It has a belt, the transmission of which is not mentioned. The cargo bike places its removable battery of unknown capacity on the stem.
Already prices, and future bikes announced!
The price would be around 5,000 euros, which is cheaper than its German rivals. As for the Tenways Ago T, it offers a price of 2,699 euros, in three colors (green, white, black). It is therefore equivalent to an Arcade Vintality Vintage equipped with the same engine and transmission. If these two bikes arrive in June, the brand still has new things to come! It intends to decline the CGO800 in Pro version and is working on a recumbent bike, a popular format in France.
