Nvidia’s gaming tests indicate that the GeForce RTX 5090 could be around 30% faster than the GeForce RTX 4090 in raw performance. This is what we see in Cyberpunk 2077where Flagship Blackwell blackwell needs DLSS to achieve playable frame rates with Path Tracing enabled. Synthetic benchmarks of the graphics card were published before its launch on the Videocardz website.

This suggests that the GeForce RTX 5090 is between 30 and 46% faster than the RTX 4090, which is more or less the expected performance increase. Of course, other variables come into play here, like CPU and RAM, but the benchmarks above should give us a decent idea of how the graphics card performs with high-end CPUs from Intel and AMD .
While the above results don’t apply to all games, the GeForce RTX 5090 will easily be the fastest desktop graphics card money can buy in the near future. AMD’s Radeon RX 9070
